Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council’s Approved Remediation List

Applicants must address one of the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council’s Approved Remediation List.

The Monroe County Opioid Advisory Council (MCOAC) presented its grant funding recommendations to the County Commission in June 2024. Funding has now been finalized and awarded.

History

In 2023, the Council actively sought public input to guide opioid settlement funding decisions. This included a public survey, a grant application Q&A Zoom session, and a county-wide town hall meeting. These early engagement efforts helped shape our funding priorities and ensure transparency from the start. The first round of applications was conducted and awarded in 2024.
